A mitzvah is a good deed or an act of kindness. Doing mitzvot — by bettering ourselves and our community — is a commandment for the Jewish people.
CommUNITY Mitzvah Day and J-SERVE are an opportunity to put our Jewish values of tikkun olam and tzedakah into action, making a real impact on the lives of others.
Join your community for a day of hands-on service experiences to address real needs throughout Greater MetroWest! Activities for volunteers of all ages — both in-person and at-home — are available. Which mitzvah will YOU find meaningful?!
Browse the list below and register for one or multiple programs. You can register for separate activities for all members of your family. You will receive an email with details prior to each program — all coming from email@example.com. Please add this email address to your contacts to ensure you receive important information.
COVID Protocols (subject to change): Attendees at in-person volunteer programs must be fully vaccinated (age 5+) and boosted (ages 18+) and bring proof of vaccination. Masks are optional. If you are not feeling well, please refrain from attending the event.
